it is saturday. it is the thirty-first of may. it is 12:02pm. it is now my final post. working with this site has been a wonderful way for me to re-ignite my flame for art, getting back into it all. as ive said in a previous post, ive loved the experience of documenting and just releasing the thoughts of the day done in journal form. ive opened an account on blogspot, so if any of you that wish to continue with my journey through this world, ill give the link again. it is still friday. it is now 4:18pm. i think that i may be finished with peacock. . . not sure. “At The Gates” (working title) acrylic and texture on wood panel..m.  

it is friday. it is 11:04am. so perhaps i have not been able to produce forty pieces in thirty days. though i have been much more productive than usual. a bit draining in a way. today ive startedworking to finish the peacock. made a template for its eye feathers and used spray paint to get the base color down. not much more than some highlights left and some finishing details. the other piece, which has no name and perhaps i feel nothing for it, the piece of the man having his tounge pulled by a bird, i believe it to be lost. not entirely happy with it, it turned out very far from what was envisioned. ive said that before as in the deer painting, that i may just destroy it and begin a new from it…. ended up salvaging that deer piece, but with this one i believe it may truly be lost. heres an updated peacock pic… also another sketch i had worked a bit on this morning. . . . .m.  

it is thursday. it is 7:17am. naturally my internet has been down for the last few days of my month here. but have been able to start a new piece, three actually in the mean time.  the two faced guy hasnt been worked on much… planning to do this today.  still a little left to do on this other new one. side note in some cultures the peacock is a symbol of the devil. even as far as worshiping it. interesting i thought. this one has alot of texture at its base… and it is on a wood panel. the other two are going to be a diptych, still in its infancy stage so far on those. hopefully i can  squeeze out mr two face today..m.

it is monday. it is 8:04am. four days left for me here. . . . ive enjoyed having a blog like this to write my thoughts and journal the progressions of my work, ive enjoyed it so much ive started my own blog on blogspot. addresss to that; mellonfineart.blogspot.com . . .. supposedly it is memorial day today. so i guess i better go off and eat hamburgers and french fries to pay respect. .m. 

it is saturday. it is 11:42am. internet was down again yesterday. . . . worked a bit on a few things… this little vase is one thing…its a little bird on a tree… markers and pens died.. so gotta get some more of those to finish, there are two other vase’s that will be accompanied with this one…. also painted a bit more on the new piece…, pictured here with my girlfriend . . .  this piece ive started with no texture, just paint on hardboard.. .. the colors are a kind of playing with me at the moment. have it in my mind what the final piece is to be… but as im working on it, the piece keeps on tricking me. was asked what the background story is to this image…. i honestly, as with most of my pieces have no idea. ‘effervescent skyline’ was probably one of the only pieces i have had a real clear understanding of.(what is it really that makes it so hard to let go and just live life and be happy?) that being a sidetracked thought.i suppose this piece could illustrate the two facedness of people. of myself. that demon inside that is always around the corner. not relenting.  perhaps the freedom of speech inhibited only by yourself…. not being able to say what you really need to.like your in a coma, watching the world around with your eyes. but not able to speak or move or help yourself in anyway….”hey teacher! leave them kids alone!”.m.

boo!well. so this piece is the one i started last week, there was a picture here of it naked. mostly just alot of acrylic washes with a latex acrylic base coat..some spray paint, all atop vinyl texture, which that is upon wood panel..m.
