Gloomy Days in Union City, traces of the spiral weasel
Dear Pat,
I woke up not remembering how I fell asleep. I feel like a complete bum. The transitioning from insanely occupied with deadlines, commute and school stress to waking up at 10 am having hour long breakfasts is not going very well. The semester that had just ended sucked most of my creative energy and I feel like the spiral weasel, although completely removed, left traces in my body. Are you coming over for lunch?

BLUE VELVET?

Thanks Chin Yew for fixing it for us!
I made the ear out of cut watercolor paper. The worm is bendable wire attached to an uncooked Deboles multi-grain spaghetti noodle which I waved around with one hand while shooting the video with the other. The background is just an old notebook I sprayed black. I shot this with my little old Lumix camera. Pat and I are working side by side on these creatures together for the first time tonight.
Any similarities to Blue Velvet were unintentional but we love David Lynch a lot!
