If you havent already, do download Art Rage from Ambient Design and take it for a spin. It is truly one of the best software out there and not just in this category. I like to use it as it lets me just paint. Even if I open the software after months there is nothing to learn to begin to use it! And no, this isnt a paid post

This is start no. 12 of a 100 from the Kevin MacPherson exercises that I started last year. Missed laying in the drawing and went straight for the paints. Used the hard copy of the reference instead of using the digital version as I would in real life. No layers this time. I’ve started working on a larger canvas using acrylics and hope to have something to show either tomorrow or the day after.
